About the venue
Located on the ground floor of 70 Pine, Crown Shy is a neighborhood seasonal restaurant elevated by fine dining training and technique inspired by Kent’s upbringing in downtown New York and his experience leading the city’s most celebrated kitchens. Exacting high caliber service is applied in a more comfortable atmosphere and with a more relaxed hand. Upon opening, the restaurant received the highest score given by the Infatuation in 2019, was awarded a 2020 Michelin star just six months after opening, and retained its Michelin star in 2021.
